CHS Development Group is a small, dynamic, and collaborative team serving the investment, development and business communities of the San Francisco/Silicon Vally Area.
History
The Group of companies, which now comprises CHS Development Group (CHSDG) began in 1991 with the development of water front homes on the San Francisco Bay. The homes were “for sale” residential development on the East Side of San Mateo. In the following years, the group pioneered the adaptive reuse of existing sites for single family and multi Family homes. By 2003 the need for investment financing, services for investors and related business services saw the formation of the current business model of CHS Development Group and CHS Construction as separate entities. CHSDG served investor needs by identifying commercial and residential and “mixed use” projects, financing and entitlements and CHS Construction oversaw the construction and marketing of these projects.
Goal
CHS Development Group identifies opportunities for investment and development through its 30 years of regional experience and knowledge. A pro Forma and plan of development is created and investors are given the opportunity to invest in the project. Each project is a “stand alone” entity and investment, compartmentalizing and diversifying risks and rewards. The range of projects has spanned in both commercial and residential spaces throughout the Peninsula. CHSDG has also acted as a consultant to private and public developers of related issues.
