CHSDG is a regional developer located on the San Francisco Peninsula and working in San Mateo, Santa Clara and San Francisco Counties. The geography and economy of this area is unique in the world.
The location of the giants in Social Media, Computer Technology, Gaming, Bio/Medical Research and world class education (Stanford and Cal) is fueling exponential growth in income, wealth and business opportunity. With growth comes the need for housing and all the businesses and jobs needed to service these companies and their employees.
We are located on the SF Peninsula and thus surrounded on three sides by water, land is limited and in the urban corridor (known as the Grand Boulevard) and presents all the conditions for exponential housing and building growth. Our cities and local governments have enacted policies in favor of “Transit Oriented Development” to satisfy these needs and yet still maintain the natural beauty, open spaces and ease transit in this area.
CHSDG, its investors and projects embrace the concepts of adaptive reuse of older underutilized buildings, the development of denser multi use structures and quality housing.
